Itinerary:

On this hike, we'll meet at the Panola Mountain / Alexander Lake parking area.  We will follow paved PATH trail to the Lyon farm and back crossing the South River.  We will also take 2 side trails.  One to another vantage point on the South River.  Another around Alexander Lake.  The total hike will be 4-5 miles.  

The parking area for this hike is part of Panola Mountain State Park and requires a $5.00 parking fee or a State Parks Pass.  You will need to bring cash as there is no digital or plastic option to pay at this parking area.

Up to 4 well behaved dogs are welcome on this hike.  I will have a medium sized dog with me.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:

From GA155, go past the main entrance to Panol Mountain State Park.  Shortly after passing the entrance, turn Left on Alexander Lake Rd.  Follow it 2 miles to the dead end at Flat Bridge Rd.  Parking will be in front of you.  Make a right in Flat Bridge and an immediate left into the parking area.
