I have seen this hike listed several times of late and though I've been to the falls well more than a dozen times from two directions, I've never known there is a close-by shuttle.

So the plan is to hike in the 3.5 easy miles with a couple of waterside stops along the way, a long (90 minutes or so) stop at the waterfalls, and the 1/2 mile trek out to the shuttle cars. The swimming hole below the falls is great for wading and you can easily climb onto the ledges at the base of the falls for a fresher, wetter experience!

The total hiking distance will be about 4 miles. The terrain is a bit rocky in areas and the trail out is a bit steep for the first 1/4 mile.

We should be back by dinner time.
