Moderate to Strenuous (7.5-8 miles)

From the lodge, well hike along the parking lot to the trail head, once we get the Orange blaze (there will be a nice wooden sign) well hike counter clock wise gradual incline (about total of 1,369 feet incline) well have lunch at the peak, and hike down back the Miller Trek. When we come to crossing area orange or blue, well take the Blue blaze along the golf course and the trail will bring us back to the trail head.

Young Harris, GA 10:30am Brasstown Valley Resort lobby area. There is a fireplace and comfortable chairs... From the Park & Ride, go East on Chastain Road to I-575. Take I-575 North, I-575 turns into 5/515, youll drive through Ellijay, Blue Ridge, Blairsville, and Young Harris. As you go through Young Harris start looking for a sign for Brasstown Valley Resort on the right. As you enter the resort, drive to the lodge and park your car.

Will this event occur rain or shine? Well have to check the weather conditions in Young Harris and Hiwassee.
