Itinerary:

We will be starting at the new Visitors Center. Behind the center is the stone arch that depicts the start of the AT Approach Trail. Depending upon trail conditions, we will either go up the steps or take the trail to the top of the falls. From the top of the falls we will take the Approach Trail to the Len Foote Inn. We will eat lunch at the inn before continuing on the Len Foote Trail back to the falls. Our descent will be down the stairs with the waterfall cascading for our viewing. It should be quite full if the rain was sufficient on Saturday. From here we will take the road to the cars. Please have your State Park Pass with you or give yourself enough time to purchase one for $5 at the center.

This is a D5 hike with approximately 3000 feet of elevation gain, recent D5 experience is required. The Pace will be around 2.5mph.
