Leita Thompson Memorial is another great Roswell GA park. The park has walking paths, a dog park, a fishing pond, a rental pavilion, a little library, and the memorial garden and pavilion. Leita Thompson is also home to Roswell’s Arts Center West. The Arts Center is where local artists can work pottery and blade/blacksmith. We will meet at the pavilion parking lot and take the red route in both directions for a total of 5 miles. We will enjoy wide, well maintained paths - some elevation but generally in short distances. Please arrive in time for parking and introductions. You may need to use the overflow parking lot … follow the gravel path, park, and allow time to walk to the pavilion. We will start on time at 9:30.
