Itinerary:
Join me for a stroll through Springdale, Virgilee, Brightwood, Shady Side, and Dellwood Parks. These small but pretty parks along Ponce de Leon Ave have a paved path that winds its way through the grass and trees and past the famous "Leaving Atlanta" sign.

Total distance of the path is approximately 1.25 miles one way, and we will be walking out and back for a total of 2.5 miles. For those wishing a longer walk, feel free to walk the route again for a total of 5 miles.

We will be meeting at the corner of Moreland/Briarcliff and Ponce de Leon. Parking is available along S Ponce de Leon, just pay attention to the no parking signs.

It's completely optional, but everyone is welcome to come along for lunch after the walk at the Landmark Diner, a local Atlanta icon.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:From I75/85

Take exit 248C to Freedom Parkway
Go until it ends (do NOT take the Carter Center fork)
Turn right on Ponce de Leon
Go straight through the traffic light at Briarcliff/Moreland
Immediately fork right onto S Ponce de Leon
