Let's get our feet wet, crossing Darnell Creek, connecting to Bartram Trail and keep going until we get to Rabun Bald.

The hike is long with lots of elevation, but the views are worth it!

This is an out and back hike, We will hike 7 miles out with 2600ft elevation gain, the return hike to cars has only about 400ft elevation gain.

The major creek crossing is 1 mile into the hike, I will probably walk that first mile in my water shoes.

We will have lunch at Rabun Bald then hike back to our cars.

The parking is extremely limited, carpool is encouraged, if for any reason you need to drive by yourself, we will consolidate in fewer cars at the beginning of the service road, which is just 1 mile before we get to the trailhead.
