Note: This is an "EXPLORATORY" trip. This means that there are parts of this trip, or perhaps the whole trip, that is new to your Trip Leader(s). However, they are confident that this will not be an issue.
This note is here so that you can make an informed decision. When a Trip Leader isn't personally familiar with a trip, there is an increased chance of things not going as planned and you need to be prepared. The Trip Leader may have additional details in the itinerary.

Itinerary:

We will be hiking the usual Connector and Cherokee Trail, and this time, we will also explore the  Hawk and Heron Trail. This trail takes us to the Evergreen Resort. (Maybe they'll have some nice cold mimosas ready for us, eh?)

This isn't an easy hike, but not difficult either for a fit person. We will take a few breaks as needed... Of course, we'll stop at the resort (to check on those mimosas!  :) and again at the mill just cause that's what we usually do.

Please arrive early to find parking. Weekends tend to be a challenge. We will meet at the base of the mountain, near the restrooms.

Parking is $20 daily, $40 annually. Alternatively, there may be free parking outside the park. You'll need to do your own research on where to park.

Please call me at the number listed if you have any issues with finding parking or me.
