Itinerary:

Join me for a morning hike at Kennesaw Mountain.

This is a nice but challenging hike, over big Kennesaw, Little Kennesaw and down to Burnt Hickory Road.

We will then return to the visitor center, take a short break to use the lou, have a snack or refill our water bottles and then return back up Kennesaw and back to Burnt Hickory.

We will come back on the Brumby Trail...So a D4 plus a D3 = a D5 ! (using AOC math)

Done before we even eat lunch!

We will go at our own pace but general pace is expected to be 2.7-2.8 mph.

Event Directions:

We'll meet at the Kennesaw Mountain Visitor Center, 900 Kennesaw Mountain Dr, Kennesaw, GA 30188. (The visitor center is near the intersection of Old Highway 41 NW and Stilesboro Road NW.)

The Visitor center parking lot is often full so we make sure to give yourself time to park in the overflow lot (about a 7 minute walk).

Notes:

There is a $5 parking fee at both the Visitor Center and overflow lots, unless you have an annual pass.  Be sure to display your annual or day pass on your dashboard!
