Join us as we padle the beautiful Toccoa River from Tammen Park in Blueridge to Horseshoe Bend Mineral Springs. This paddle is intended to be for participants of the AppleFest camping event. While we will not turn anyone away, please be aware that the members from the wait list who are registered for the Apple Fest Camping will be moved up first.

Fall is a great time of year to paddle! The water is chilly, but the scenery is beautiful! This section is fairly tame with dam releases dictaing water levels. We'll Hope for the Best! Along the trail we'll be stopping at Curtis Switch Park TVA for a leg stretch.

We'll meet at Tammen Park, unload our boats, and then run a shuttle to Horseshoe park. If you are able and willing to help with the shuttle, we can try to work something out befpre meeting and reduce the time spent on logisitics.

***   PFDs ARE REQUIRED TO BE ON YOUR BOAT / BODY AT ALL TIMES - NO PFD - NO PADDLE

We won't dicatate how your PFD is carried, just that it is with your boat per GA regulations
