THIS HIKE IS ONLY FOR PARTICIPANTS OF THE HADRIAN'S WALL WALK TRIP!

 

As the wall was predominantly dirt and turf in this section there is very little evidence on the wall remaining but this is still a lovely section of rural countryside and gives you time to reflect before heading to the Haytongate turn-off into Lanercost.

Afternoon tea at the Lanercost Tea Rooms.
Taxi from Lanercost to Brampton. Overnight in Brampton

 


Required Items to Bring:

Weather appropriate clothing

Hiking boots/shoes w/ good traction

Water (2 to 3 litres), and

Your SOH (sense of humor)

Headlamp
