THIS HIKE IS ONLY FOR PARTICIPANTS OF THE HADRIAN'S WALL WALK TRIP!

 

A pleasant section that follows a largely consolidated section of Hadrian's wall, including:
Banks East Turret - Hadrian's Wall
***Visit the Birdoswald Roman Fort.
After arriving in the village of Gilsland visit a local pub for a well-earned pint and dinner at Samson Inn. Overnight in Gilsland OR taxi to Once/Twice Brewed.


Required Items to Bring:

Weather appropriate clothing

Hiking boots/shoes w/ good traction

Water (2 to 3 litres), and

Your SOH (sense of humor)

Headlamp
