Itinerary:

We will start our hike in the Top of the Falls parking lot near the restrooms.  We will hike the Hike Inn trail to the Hike Inn and take a 15-20 minute break to rest, snack and enjy the view.

We will follow the same trail back to the parking lot.  Our pace will be 2.8 - 3.0 mph.

The leaves are starting to turn in the North Georgia mountains, so the view from the Hike Inn vista point should be beautiful for this hike.

If you need to stop at the visitir center for snacks or a daily pass, please allow additional travel timeso that we can start promptly at 8:30.

Event Directions:

The park address is 418 Amicalola State Park Rd, Dawsonville, GA.

We will meet at the Top of the Falls parking lot.  When you enter the park turn left on Top of the Falls Road and proceed to the second parking area.  We will meet in the section of the lot near the restrooms.


Notes:

There is a $5 daily entry fee at this park unless you have a valid Georgia State Park annual pass.
