As temperatures start to get a tiny bit cooler, it is a great time to do a long loop to the Len Foote Inn.

We will be starting at the stone arch behind the Visitors Center. We will take East Ridge trail to the top of the falls. From the top of the falls we will take the AT Approach trail over Frosty Mountain to the Len Foote Inn Trail. We will eat lunch outside of the Inn before continuing on the Len Foote Trail back to the falls. We will go down the stairs along the falls to the Creek Trail and back to the visitor center.

Len Foote Inn may or may not be open to use the rest rooms and refill water.

We will hike at an average of 2.7 miles/hour but will take breaks for water and to keep the group together.

This is a D5 hike with approximately 3000 feet of elevation gain, if you do not have a recent D5 hike with the AOC, the leader will reach out to verify your recent hiking experience.
