Itinerary:
Easy to Moderate

From the parking lot well hike down the trail to the river, and well hike along the river, first stop is this medium sized waterfall (most people even local people dont know), and then walk back to the river, well continue on till we reach a large open field, there is a nice small deck there over the river, from there well hike back briefly to the bridge and hike up toward the HQ for Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area for a quick water and bathroom break, from HQ well walk briefly on the pavement down the hill to a pond, and well hike around the pond, here well have a short break for some snacks, after the break well cross the road on to the trail hiking back down to the Chattahoochee River, and hiking along the river again and passing the area originally we came down, and well be visiting a giant rock area, yes on some of them you can climb up inside a natural shelter like areas, after the rock formation, well continue on and bear left and back to the parking lot.

1) Good Hiking/Walking shoes
2) Plenty of water or Gatorade

How to Get There:
Event Directions:1978 Island Ford Pkwy, Atlanta, 30350 1:45pm First parking lot on the left as you enter the park. From Sandy Springs MARTA Station, go back on Abernathy Road to GA-400 North, Exit 6: Northridge, stay on the right lane as you exit 400, as soon as you go over 400 turn right (youll see a small brown sign for the park), at the 2nd light turn right (youll see Coca-Cola Distribution Center on the left and Quick trip), youll go up a hill and go over 400 again, near the bottom of the hill, youll see a park entrance on the right, as you enter go to the first parking lot on the left.

Notes:

Are Dogs Permitted? YES (All dogs must be kept on a leash at all times. Leash can be no longer than 6 ft.)

Will this event occur rain or shine? No hiking in the rain!
