Itinerary:

 

The promo photo isn’t of the parks we’re visiting. I chose Chuck’s because he is this hike's architect.

 

This is an 8-ish mile hike on trails, rocks, boardwalks, and concrete. Mainly dirt trails though!

 

We’ll meet in the parking lot near the children’s playground.

 

The D3 rating comes from the few short steep climbs adding up to around 800ft elevation gain, and difficult rocky terrain in some parts in addition to the fast pace.

 

We will pass by streams, a lake, Champion trees (if I manage to find them), a suspension bridge, and the Emory University president’s home. 

 

We might get to see wildlife like Deer, Geese, Ducks!
