Well, it's more like Lake, Mountain, and Rock, but where is the fun in saying that.

I have long desired to revisit Preacher’s Rock, the location of my inaugural trail fall, and yes I fell in the mud.

- Thank you, Pam M., for swiftly capturing the moment, I’ve never seen anyone pull out their phone that quickly.

Now that I’m done with shaming my friend, let me tell you about the hike:

This is an out and back hike, about 2500 feet of elevation gain, and 12 miles long.

We will begin from Lake Winfield Scot to Jarrard Gap.

At the intersection, we will take a southwestern direction until we reach Big Cedar Mountain, passing by Granny Top along the way.

Finally, we’ll reach our scenic lunch spot, the legendary Preacher’s Rock!
