Itinerary:
Easy to Moderate 7.5 Miles

7.5 miles with an option to cut it short for dog hikers.

Good scenic hike for the beginners with rivers streams, pond, ruins, water falls and more!)

From the parking lot well hike back over the bridge to the other side, hiking briefly with other joggers and hikers, well bear left to nature trail, there will be some stream crossings (the trial is not marked so please be careful), after the nature trail, well be hiking on fitness trail briefly and go back on the main trail, this trail well take us to sibley pond (there is a nice deck here so well have our lunch here), after the lunch break, well goto the Soap Creek Ruins (yes ruins on each side of the river), after the ruin visit, well hike back to the parking lot. If you decide your dog cant make the distance there is a path at 2.5 mile point, ill tell you where it is and just follow the path down to the main fitness trail. There is an option to visit a mysterious pile of rock also found in this area, some believes its an old Indian sacrificial tomb, where people are buried arrive, on some ceremonial purposes. Only few of us know at this point, but I can only give this option to a non-dog hikers, since its considered sacred ground, some say they can hear a cry for help from under the pile of rocks. After the hike well be going out to eat, a choice of great chinese/sushi, Souther food, Brazilian Sandwich, or Mellow Mushroom. (its all within 1.5 miles from the park and also from the carpool location)
