Itinerary:

Come join me for my second co-lead hike climbing the Hills and around the Meadows of Kennesaw Mountain. Thanks to Nahid helping with my training.

We will start from the Pigeon Hill Trailhead and reach KMNBP Visitor Center by Camp Brumby Trail. We will take a short bio break here and take the religious Big Kennesaw and Little Kennesaw route to get back to our starting point.

We can refill water if needed from car and also have a short snack break here. Then, we will hike the Hardage Mill Trail and Noses Creek Trail. We will cross over Dallas Highway to reach Illinois monument for another short snack break. We will further complete the Cheatham Hill loop to cross back Dallas Highway. We will return to our cars via the main trail.

We will be hiking at a moderate pace ranging 2.2 to 2.8 miles depending on the terrain - gentle speed on the hills and faster otherwise. We might average around 2.5 miles overall. If you are not familiar hiking this distance, this might not be the hike for you.

The hike might be rescheduled if there is rainy weather.

Pls arrive at 8.20am for introductions and Directions for the hike. We will start hiking at 8.30 am. If you are buying the day pass, pls plan to allow time for the same.

This is a smaller parking lot. So, allow enough time to park before the hike.
