Itinerary:

It's MLK Day, and I have the day off! If you do too, join me for a walk in the city from the Carter Center to the King Center, where we can pay homage to this amazing civil rights leader. 

(FYI - the artwork in the promo pic above is called "Homage to King")

 

WHERE WE'LL GO

After intros... We'll explore the grounds of the Carter Center, and then make our way to The Bridge (John Lewis tribute). Then we'll hop on the Beltline and the Stone Mountain Trail to make our way to the King Center and to his birth home.

We'll go back to the Carter Center via Inman Park and Freedom Park.

 

PARKING AND MEETING SPOT

Park at the Carter Center (address and GPS map link below). Parking is plentiful and free. 

We'll meet at the circular drive, where the state flags are.

Please arrive early to find parking and the group.
