Let's enjoy another morning ramble through Mason Mill and Lullwater Parks. There will be a variety of terrain, including sections that are narrow, gnarly, and on steep slopes. The hike will be a mix of the South Peachtree Creek path, various rougher trails in Mason Mill Park, and a loop through Lullwater. Highlights include the Candler mansion in Lullwater, parts of the former Decatur waterworks, and two city champion trees. As stated above, there are some steep slopes with rocks, roots and gravel. This is not a fast or training hike; we will maintain an average speed of 2.6 to 2.8 mph.

Note: the restrooms in Mason Mill Park are closed for the winter.

We will meet in Mason Mill Park at the back parking lot by the tennis courts. Please arrive a few minutes early to allow time for introductions.
