Itinerary:

Join me for a hike at Vineyard Mountain, slower than the standard/D4 AOC hike at this location. Starting at the trailhead on Redtop Mountain Road we will follow the yellow+red trails to the summit and then the red+blue+yellow trails back. We will stay together as a group and take regular breaks. We will cover about 6 miles and climb almost 1500 feet in total at an average pace of 28 mins/mile.

Given the elevation gain, this would be a D4 at a slightly faster pace. So it should be a good hike for folks with solid D3 experience looking to get into harder hikes.

There are no restrooms at the trailhead. Parking is free but the lot is quite small, so you should either arrive 15-20 minutes early or (better) travel with someone.

Please arrive 10 mins early for socializing/introductions so that we can start on time.
