Please join us for a brisk walk along the Chattahoochee River enjoying the views of the river, wildlife, people and their dogs. We will start at Riverside Park and walk until Willeo Park where we turn around and return to our start at Riverside Park. The walk is on paved paths and boardwalks so the pace of 3 mpg should be attainable with stops for pictures and water.

This walk is suitable for beginners who are comfortable with walking 6 miles. This is not a fitness walk nor a leisurely stroll. Our goal is to enjoy the riverview while visiting with others and getting some exercise.

Please plan on meeting in front of the restrooms at 9:50 a.m. for introductions.

A good bit of the walk is under the sky so bring a hat to keep off the sun or glare.
