Itinerary:

Join me for an afternoon hike at Kennesaw Mountain.

This is a nice but challenging hike, over big Kennesaw, Little Kennesaw and down to Burnt Hickory Road.

We will take a couple minutes at Burnt Hickory and then return to the Visitor Center.

And the best part is that a 1pm hike will help us beat both the morning and the evening traffic!

We'll meet at the Kennesaw Mountain Visitor Center, 900 Kennesaw Mountain Dr, Kennesaw, GA 30188. (The visitor center is near the intersection of Old Highway 41 NW and Stilesboro Road NW.)

The Visitor center parking lot is often full so we make sure to give yourself time to park in the overflow lot (about a 7 minute walk).

Notes:

There is a $5 parking fee at both the Visitor Center and overflow lots, unless you have an annual pass. Be sure to display your annual or day pass on your dashboard!
