A 3-mile walk at Mason Mill Park in Decatur centers on the scenic, mostly flat part of the park. Featuring elevated wooden boardwalks that meander through lush forest canopy.

The paved trail connects to Medlock Park along a creek, offering, peaceful views,

It is a well-maintained, popular spot, offering a serene nature escape within the suburban landscape.

We’ll meet in the parking lot near the children’s playground.

I will be wearing a big blue hat.

Since the walk is on paved, mostly flat path, our pace will be moderate at 2.5-2.7 miles per hour.
