Join us as we explore the Dawsonville Wilderness area. We will seeing 5 waterfalls, crossing creeks and having a great time! This is an 11 mile hike with 2800 feet of ascent.

It has been a while since I have done this trail in the spring, the wildflowers should be everywhere. It is sure to be a fun adventure. We will be taking the loop CCW, mostly downhill to start and mostly uphill to finish. Somewhere along the way we will be taking a break for lunch and perhaps a short swim.

There will be 4 water crossings on this hike, one may require changing shoes. Be sure to bring some appropriate shoes for creek crossing (up to knee deep) or be prepared to hike with wet feet.

This is a strenuous, wilderness hike. You must have recent D5 experience to participate in this event.

 

This is a great hike and not too far from home. Come join the fun!
