This is an in and out hike, parking at Deep Gap, passing Davenport Mountain and Rocky Mountain. We won't reach Stanley Gap, but will take a side trip to Fall Branch Falls.

There are some glamping yurts near the falls - we'll see if it is a good lunch spot.

Water flow in the falls depends on the weather...right. Fall Branch Falls is a double waterfall.

Elevation gain 2600' approximately.

Pace: around 2.5 to 2.8mph; a more moderately fast pace.

Carpool departure: 8:15 AM, please arrive a few minutes early

Hike departure: 9:30 AM

Hike return: 2:00 PM

Carpool return: 3:30 PM

Event Qualification: You must have at least a D4 in the last 3 months or send me an email with date, length, duration, elevation of your most recent hike for consideration.

If you don't see your name on the event, you either didn't qualify or the event is full.

Parking is just off Aska Road, if you head north past Green Mountain Court - you've gone too far.
