It’s time for one of my favorite Sunday morning traditions—hitting the trail! This week, we’ll energize ourselves on the Gold Branch Trail, a scenic in‑town hike that offers just the right mix of adventure and accessibility. The trail is slightly rugged, with a few slopes and rocky sections that add interest and challenge without being overly difficult. It’s perfect for hikers who want a true outdoor feel close to home. Along the way, we’ll enjoy beautiful views of the Chattahoochee River and the surrounding wildlife, plants, and trees that make this area so special. We’ll start promptly at 8:00 a.m. and plan to complete the 4 to 4.5‑mile hike by about 9:30 a.m. The pace will be moderate to fast, but beginners are absolutely welcome and encouraged to join. This hike is a great way to start your Sunday feeling refreshed, energized, and connected to nature. I hope you’ll join me for a fun and invigorating morning on the trail! | |||||||

| How to Get There: | |||||||
| Event Directions: | Gold Branch Trail is located on Lower Roswell Road, between Johnson Ferry Road and Willeo Road. The park sign is now visible from the road, but the entrance sits between residential subdivisions and can still be easy to miss if you’re not paying close attention. If you’re coming from Johnson Ferry Road, the park will be on your right, about 2 miles down Lower Roswell Road. If you’re coming from Willeo Road, it’s also roughly 2 miles, but on your left. For those traveling on Azalea Drive, note that when you turn left onto Willeo Road, the road makes a sharp 90‑degree left turn and becomes Lower Roswell Road. From that point, the park is about 2 miles ahead on the left. Because the entrance is small, it’s easy to drive right past it—so slow down and watch carefully for the turn‑off as you approach.
