Itinerary:

NOTE:  There will be no carpool as I will be staying in Hiawassee 7/7-7/13.  

Join me in scenic Helen for cool tubing down the Chattahoochee River. I am planning on the 2  - 2 1/2 hour float.  If water level is low, will either do the 1 - 1 1/2 hour float or cancel the event.  I have been on the river when the water level was low and it is not much fun.

I will be in touch with those on the event on 7/7.  I am hiking in Helen that day and I can check the water levels when I am in town.  I will decide on 1 hour or 2 hour float.  Also will forward website information so participants can fill out the waiver and pay ahead of time.  This will save us time.

Swim suit

Water shoes

Sense of adventure and fun!

Change of clothes

Rafting stick if you have one.  Helps if you get stuck.  They also sell them.

Notes:
* We encourage all members to follow our Etiquette Guidelines while participating in AOC events.

Cost Includes:

Members will pay directly to Cool River Tubing Company in Helen.

It's $14.00 per person to float.

Price includes tube, life jacket. tie straps, key saver service, and shuttle


Cancellation/Partial Attendance:   Please review the AOC cancellation policy.
*Note:

Event is shine only!  Also if water level is very low event will be cancelled.

Event may be cancelled if extreme weather is forcasted for day of (ie, 50% or better).
