Atlanta Streets Alive is an event that happens throughout the city several times a year in different areas of The ATL. This time we'll be walking on Peachtree Street from 15th to Underground Atl. The street will close to vehicles, so outdoor enthusiasts like us can walk/bike/skate/skip/jump rope, etc. The streets come alive!! -- with music and games to entertain along the way. (In years past, there's also been freebies. (Now who doesn't like swag?)

Lets meet at Piedmont Park at the obelisk. (See below for pic of meeting spot and my parking tips.) Please plan to arrive early to find your parking spot and the group. We will leave promptly at 2:00.

We'll walk at a moderate pace, but will slow down/stop as we approach the fun things. If we get separated, we'll regroup at the intersections.

Please be flexible with the timing of this event (+/- 30 mins) cause we never know what fun thing will distract us :)

Notes:

I can usually find parking on 10th street... But if non is available, you can also park on the surrounding streets. Pay attn to signage that restricts public (non-resident) parking.

If you prefer, you can also use the parking lot adjacent to Park Tavern. I believe the cost is $10 or $15.

Do NOT park in any of the other parking lots. They'll boot, and the cost for that... which I unfortunately know 1st hand was $70.
