Itinerary:

Lets try a different route for this Thursday's evening hike. I should dub this hike "something old, something new" cause we'll be walking from the newish area of Decatur to historic Avondale Estates.

Meet at Courtland Decatur East. You can park here. (See parking and meeting spots below)

THE ROUTE:
We will be walking along College Avenue thru historic Avondale Estates. It's a charming area named after a village in England with architecture to match. We will also walk thru the historic neighborhood and around the lake, to make our way to Decatur's Legacy Park. (We will NOT be going through the park since this is my Tuesday evening hike.) We'll walk on the new greenway extension to make our way back to our starting point and call it an evening.
