Itinerary:

Let's enjoy a scenic hike to beautiful Panther Creek Falls, and lunch at the falls.

The plan is to depart from the Panther Creek trailhead at 10:00 AM. We'll keep a moderate pace out to the falls. There is some elevation change and it is about 3.5 miles to the falls. If you have not been to Panther Creek Falls before, the last .25 mile includes some narrow, rocky ledges. These are sometimes slick. But, there are secure guy-lines and it is very doable. If you have any concerns, feel free to call the trip leader.

Assuming the weather is nice, we'll hang out at the falls for a while and enjoy a beautiful spring day. Bring a lunch and something to sit on with you and we'll enjoy some comradery. How long we stay at the falls will be dependent on the weather.

We'll then return to the trail head, retracing our steps. We plan to be back to the parking area by 3:00.

This will be a no- rush hike to enjoy the walk in the woods and the rushing creek. Be prepared to tackle a few short technical sections during the hike.

There is a restroom at the trailhead parking area.

Plan for a $4 parking fee. You can pay it on your phone.
