Itinerary:

This week, we will mix it up a bit to avoid any potential snafu at Legacy Park.

Instead, we will be meeting at Columbia Seminary (across from Legacy Park). There are several parking lots here, and we will be parking at the rear lot located by Campbell Library. See directions below.

After parking and intros, we will explore the grounds of the seminary. It's pretty quiet at this time of day. If you're into architecture like I am, the style of the campus is gothic.

Upon leaving the seminary, we will cross the street to Legacy Park and explore the trails there. Yes, it has legit trails! -- with a pond, gardens, a meadow, the new track (the reason why we won't park there). It's also a sanctuary for all kinds of critters -- swimming, hopping, flying, hiking :) No gothic buildings here. Legacy is the site of a former orphanage with cute cottages that are now being used for other activities.

This is a moderately fast paced hike. Please be sure you can do the distance in the time allotted (5 miles, 1 hr 45 mins)

The parking lot entrance is located ACROSS from this address, so don't park at at that house! :)
