Itinerary:

If you are trying to complete the 12 Paddles in 12 Month Challenge, this would be a make-up paddle if you missed a prior month. If you are not trying to complete the Challenge, this would be a lovely lake paddle with some possible splashing to cool down.

We will meet at the parking Area near the boat house and unload our boats and try to get on the water by 10 am. The lake is 260 acres and we will take a counter clockwise route around the perimeter, this will be about 7 miles. We will stop to for a snack and water break but I am not planning a long stop for lunch. After our paddle, there will be an optional lunch at a nearby local resturant.

If you do not have a boat and wish to rent one, you can rent on at the boat house. They are changing vendors at this time so please call  770.867.3489 for the most up to date information. If you decide to rent a boat please arrive early so you can complete the rental process before 10 am.

More information on the "12 paddles in 12 months in 12 Georgia State Parks" (see GA State park list here https://gastat eparks.org/sites/default/files/par ks/pdf/clubs/ParkPaddlers_MemberCard_2023_fillable.pdf )

I will post the following paddles at least 1 month ahead of the date of the event. The paddles with the * will have boat rentals. I have 1 make-up paddle listed but will likely repeat others over the summer so you wil have several oppurtunities to get 12 paddles. The last paddle is at the Okefenokee, we will rent some cabins and have a celebration for those folks who paddle in 12 parks in 2026.
