Itinerary:

Please join me to hike along Panther Creek trail to the Upper Falls. It is a 3.5 mile in/ out hike for a total of 7+ miles.  The hike is scenic, the trail has some roots, rocks and a modest elevation, much of the trail involves hiking along Panther Creek, nothing too challenging and the reward is getting to the Upper Falls where there is an opportunity to enjoy a swim or to take a dip in the cool water.  We will take our lunch at the Falls, plan to spend up to 1 hour there  before retracing our steps to the start of the trailhead.  This is a popular event for the summer season and a good way to beat the heat.

Our hike will be between 2.5- 3.0 mph so it will be a good pace but not too fast. We will stay together as a group.  Please have D3 experience with the club before signing up.  The parking is very limited so I am encouraging everyone to carpool if possible.  The cost to park is $4 per vehicle, it is my understanding you may pay over your phone too, otherwise please bring small bills.
