A fun fast fat burning event! This hike is a woodsy hilly hike through Vickery Creek.

From the parking lot, we'll cross Riverside Road to enter Vickery Creek. Vickery Creek offers a variety of trails, covered bridge, and beautiful views of the water along the creek at the dam, with occasional glimpses of wildlife. We'll keep a good pace with brief pauses for water along the way.

Recent D2+ experience to join the fun. Please arrive at least 10 minutes early for socializing and introductions.

Note: Riverside Park is currently closed, so We will start at Riverside Overflow parking lot on Riverside Road. The overflow parking lot sits between the consturction and St Andrews Church (675 Riverside Rd, Roswell, GA). This is UNpaved lot. Free parking here. There are NO restrooms at this location. Please arrive at least 10 minutes early for introductions giving us an on-time departure.

Fluids are essential! Electrolyte fluids are best.

Sturdy hiking shoes/boots

RIVERSIDE PARK Overflow Parking Lot

575 Riverside Road

Roswell, GA 30075

From Northbound U.S. 19/Ga. 400
Take exit 6 for Northridge Road
Stay RIGHT onto Northridge Road crossing bridge
Take first RIGHT onto Dunwoody Place, go 1.3 miles
Turn RIGHT at Ga. 9 (Roswell Road), go 0.6 miles
Cross river turn RIGHT onto Riverside Road, cross the bridge and the park is on the right.

From Southbound U.S. 19/Ga. 400
Take exit 7 for Ga. 140 (Holcomb Bridge Road)
Turn RIGHT onto Ga. 140 East (Holcomb Bridge Road), go 0.2 mile
Turn LEFT at Dogwood Road, go 1.0 miles
Continue STRAIGHT on Riverside Road, go 1.0 mile
Turn LEFT at park entrance - - just before crossing the bridge at Atlanta Road.

No parking fee.
