Itinerary:

Hike the beautiful Gold Branch Trail on the banks of the Chattahoochee River near Roswell and East Cobb. We will bear to the left to descend to the river and do the entire river stretch. I am making this a five mile hike but the loop is only about 4 miles so I have to add another mile by adding an internal path. Be aware that there are parts of the path near the river that are eroded and require sure footing on rocks. There are no bathrooms at the park. You will need a Chatahoochee NRA or National Parks parking pass for the park which is best to buy in advance.

The park entrance is directly across Lower Roswell Road from the Ashforde subdivision and easy to drive past.
