Note: This is an "EXPLORATORY" trip. This means that there are parts of this trip, or perhaps the whole trip, that is new to your Trip Leader(s). However, they are confident that this will not be an issue.
This note is here so that you can make an informed decision. When a Trip Leader isn't personally familiar with a trip, there is an increased chance of things not going as planned and you need to be prepared. The Trip Leader may have additional details in the itinerary.

Itinerary:

Join me as I explore some new to me trails in the Aska Trail System near Blue Ridge, GA.

We will start by heading to Rocky Mountain, this will get our hardest climb of the day finished. Now we turn around and head past our cars, across the street and over to Green Mountain. And we keep going. We will pass a viewpoint as we head towards the lake. Once we get to the lake, if we are hot, a quick dip will cool us off before heading back to our cars.

There was a recent bear sighting in the area, so maybe we will get lucky.

This is a low D5 event, recent D4 experience is required to join the fun!
