Itinerary:

Ready for another Monday morning hike? This hike will be at a moderate pace, so that we complete 4 to 4.5 miles in two hours.

We'll start this hike in the parking lot and venture along a path that leads to the Morgan Falls Dam.  On the return, we'll take the more direct trail back to the parking lot.  There are no big hills to worry about, and the trails are relatively free of obstacles. 

There are bathrooms at this location . . . always a nice amenity.  But there's also that $5 parking fee, since this is one of the CNRA units.  Your annual pass or America the Beautiful pass will work if you have either one.  If you don't have a pass, you can purchase one online at https://www.nps.gov/chat/planyourvisit/fees.htm

The parking lot is located at this approximate address:

Do not park in the lot along Johnson Ferry Road.  Instead, drive down the gravel road to the large parking lot past the bathrooms.  Be sure to turn left to drive around the lot when you park.  It's one-directional.


Notes:

We'll allow up to three people with dogs, so if you register and there are already three people signed up to bring their pups, please do not add yours.  All dogs are required to be on a leash at all times.
