Easy

The Gainesville College trail is great for beginner mountain bikers. The terrain is relatively flat and non-technical (free from obstacles such as rocks and tree roots). The trail is narrow with some twists, so you will get some good practice manuvering your bike. We will ride the trail twice: once in each direction. As usual, after the ride we will have lunch.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:3820 Mundy Mill Rd, Oakwood, GA 30566 10:00 in the parking lot. From Atlanta take I-85 north to I-985 north.
Take exit #16 which is Oakwood/Highway 53.
Turn left off the exit ramp.
Turn right into the second Gainesville College entrance.
Follow the road through campus past the athletic center.
When you see a small sign that says plant operations turn left and park.

Are Dogs Permitted? No

Will This Event Occur Rain or shine? No. Riding on wet trails destroys them. If it rains the day before the ride , it will be postponed. Call the trip leader if the weather looks bad on the day of the ride.

NOTE: Please be considerate of others. If you sign-up and cannot attend, please e-mail the trip leader, so others that may be on a waiting list may attend. E-mail the trip leader to be put on a waiting list if the trip is at the max number of attendees.
