April 2 set up shuttle
April 2 hike to Hawk Mtn Shelter, camp 8 Miles
April 3 Gooch Gap, camp 8.5 miles
April 4 Blood Mountain, camp 10 miles
April 5 Low Gap Shelter, camp 13 miles
April 6 Blue Mountain Shelter 7 miles
April 7Tray Mountain Shelter 8 miles
April 8 Deep Gap Shelter 7.5 miles
April 9 Plumorchard Shelter 8 miles
April 10 Bly Gap 4.5 miles and return to Blue Ridge Gap and car 3 miles total for day 7.5 miles
Total distance- 79 miles

Required Items to Bring:
Tent, Sleeping bag, stove, pot and spoon or spork, food list below of what you will need for the trip, hiking poles and boots rain gear. hat, sunscreen,if you need it)
B = breakfast, L = lunch, D = dinner you will need 8-B, 9-L, 8-D
As time gets closer I will email everyone and tell you how to distribute up food
Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
snacks, after hike shoes (example croks) you will want to change out of your boots.
If weather is cool at night you might need down jacket or fleece. Hopefully at that time weather will be getting warm. Hat and sunscreen if you need, Sun will be hot and without leaves on trees your head might get sunburned

How to Get There:
Event Directions:will be published if there is interest. A trip of this length takes a lot of time and preparing that I am not willing to do unless I get some interest. Hope I get some interest though.
