Very Cool Cave

Previous caving (advanced, not beginner) or climbing (5.8 or better) experience required.

If you are a climber, then this cave rocks!

The entrance has a vertical drop of 30 feet, in which everyone will climb down on rope (lots of foot holds) as well as back up when we leave the cave.
After that it's a stream passage all the way to the back where we have to climb up to the next level. There we will have some tight crawls, but well worth it for the pretty formations you'll see. A little fear of heights is OK, but don't sign up if it's a big fear or you are not confident with climbing.

If I am not familar with your experience, I will ask about it. If I am still not convinced you can handle this cave with your current experience, I will ask you to drop off.

Estimated cost per vehicle for this event is $100.00 using a reimbursement rate guideline of $0.400 per mile. The total amount should be divided by the number of people in the vehicle, including the driver. This is a guideline, not a rule, for drivers but the cost should not be higher unless there are extenuating circumstances.

Notes:

You WILL get very wet on this trip so synthetic material is strongly advised.
I wear nylon pants & nylon T-shirt as well as light poly pro thermals under my pants.

After we're done caving, we'll stop for Mexican Food at a great place I know in Chattanooga.
