Itinerary:

What a great opportunity to enjoy the summer hiking season in the Northeast Georgia mountains. This will be a 7 mile moderate difficulty in and out trail to a beautiful waterfall and some swimming holes. This hike is very well marked with only small elevation changes. However, there are a few areas where we have to be cautious, using the provided walking fence to skirt around some boulders, and do some scrambling over rocks to get to the falls and swimming holes. We will pass a series of cascades and shoals before getting to the main waterfall for which this area is known for. We will plan on an extended lunch break so we can enjoy the great scenery and allow some time for those that want to swim.
For those interested, we will plan on dinner near the Park and Ride.

Continue and merge onto GA-365 N. GA-365 N becomes US-23/441 N. Approximately 9 miles north of Clarksville is Panther Creek Recreation Area.
