Prepare to be amazed by the variety and beauty of several waterfalls within ten miles of each other near Clayton, GA, and be ready to cool off in the water and play around a couple of the waterfalls.

Join Bruce and some friends from his old hiking club-SOA in this very scenic and literally cool hike. From the Marta park and ride lot we will travel about 12 miles to I-985, which bears off to the left and travel to Clayton, GA for a brief stop at the Burger King; and then we will travel to the trailhead, approx. 15 miles distant. We’ll see the spectacular Holcomb Creek Falls, some 125’tall first, then smaller, but beautiful Ammons Creek Falls, then for another mile to an upper falls and wading pool on Holcomb Creek before returning to our cars. Then we travel to the second hike location, where we will hike a couple of miles to Martin Creek Falls on the Bartram trail over rolling terrain.
