This is the 2011 kick-off event of the Canyon Climbers Club (CCC) series of hikes. We will start this series hiking the beautiful Cloudland Canyon State Park. The plan is to post future hikes at the other three parks that comprise the CCC, get our card punched each time, and get an official T-shirt displaying our accomplishments at the end of this series!

For this portion at Cloudland Canyon, we will be hiking both the Waterfalls Trail and Sitton's Gulch Loop Trail for a total of 6.5 miles round trip from the top of the stairs (approximately 600 steps). We may also do an optional West Rim Loop Trail for another 4.8 miles loops if the group wishes.

Please note there is a one-time cost of $10 paid to the park directly (not AOC) to get a card to be punched at each CCC location -- afterwards we get a T-shirt in return.

Estimated cost per vehicle for this event is $78.00 using a reimbursement rate guideline of $0.400 per mile. The total amount should be divided by the number of people in the vehicle, including the driver. This is a guideline, not a rule, for drivers but the cost should not be higher unless there are extenuating circumstances.
