Itinerary:
The southern 1.8 miles of this greenway was closed for repairs on March 17th, 2011.   Re-opening time is has not been determined yet.

Join us for a fun morning bike ride along the Forsyth Greenway. This newer section of the Greenway is mostly flat with only about 100 feet of elevation gain each way, and covers paved paths and boardwalks along Big Creek.

We will meet at the the northern trailhead off of McFarland Road. The one-way distance is 5 miles (accomidating the closure), so out and back is 10  miles.  Everyone can go at their own pace and it should take us 1.5 hours at the longest.  It is a lot more straighforward than the southern sections in that there are not a lot of pathing decisions to make along the way.
