Itinerary:
ADDENDUM from CHARLIE, 7:30 AM SUN MAY 1st:  I successfully "laid claim" this morning to the nicest of the unreserved pavilions at the Park by hanging our brightly colored AOC banner on it.  Also put red & white checkered tablecloths on the picnic tables with some cups, candles, etc. to let others know that it is in use.  Thanks to several of you who have said you can arrive a bit early to "guard" it till the rest of us arrive.  It's the medium-sized green pavilion on the hill.  As Lisa suggested, you may wish to bring a camp chair since seating is limited at the picnic tables.  See y'all there after our AOC CPR class!  -Charlie

Join us at Mason Mill Park under the Pavilion for a trip leader meeting. Bring a camp chair in the event that the Pavilion is taken. Pizza and Soft drinks will be supplied. All trip leaders and prospective trip leaders may join the meeting. There should be plenty of free parking.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:FROM "SPAGHETTI JUNCTION"  I-85/ I-285 Interchange in NE Atlanta:

1) Take I-85 South toward Atlanta about 4 miles and get off at Exit #91, "Clairmont Rd."

2) Turn Left onto Clairmont Road (US-23 southward toward Decatur) and go about 2.3 miles to the traffic light at McConnell Drive. (This is the first light south of the much busier junction and light at North Druid Hills Road).

3) Turn Left onto McConnell Drive, go 0.1 mile ahead and turn Right at the stop sign to stay on McConnell (following signs toward Mason Mill Park and DeKalb Tennis Center).

4) Just 0.1 mile ahead, turn Left at the first "Mason Mill Park" sign into the spacious parking lot, and look for our AOC banner and sign.  We'll likely gather in the green-roofed dining pavilion that is just uphill of the colorful playground.


FROM SOUTH ATLANTA or MIDTOWN:

1) Take I-85 North, get off at Exit #89, "North Druid Hills Rd," and stay in the rightmost lane of the exit ramp.

2) Turn Right onto N Druid Hills Road and go about 2.0 miles to the traffic light at Clairmont Road.

3) Turn slight Right onto Clairmont Road and go 0.2 mile to next traffic light at McConnell Drive.

4) Turn Left onto McConnell Drive, go 0.1 mile ahead and turn Right at the stop sign to stay on McConnell (following signs toward Mason Mill Park and DeKalb Tennis Center).

5) Just 0.1 mile ahead, turn Left at the first "Mason Mill Park" sign into the spacious parking lot, and look for our AOC banner and sign. We'll likely gather in the green-roofed dining pavilion that is just uphill of the colorful playground.
