Itinerary:

Spring is here! It’s time to enjoy the great weather, scenery and an Atlanta classic event: The Dogwood Festival.

We’ll park at the Botanical Gardens parking deck and meet near the entrance gate of gardens at 10:45 am. From there, we’ll head to Piedmont Park and spend an hour walking on the paved trails.

At noon, we’ll walk to the Atlanta Dogwood Festival, which is located inside Piedmont Park. The festival (free admission) starts at noon, so we’ll get there right as it kicks off. (No dogs are allowed at the festival or on this event.)

The festival will be filled with all kinds of great stuff to check out: an artist market, live music, food stations & much more. Be sure to bring cash if you want to buy something at the festival. ATM fees are high at the Dogwood Festival and the lines are long!

I plan to hang around the festival until 1:30 p.m. You are welcome stay longer or skip this part of the AOC event, if you want.
