Itinerary:
We will be riding at the Taylor Randahl Memorial Mountain Bike Trails at Olde Rope Mill Park.  This park consists of the 6.25 mile Avalanche Trail.  This trail is considered an intermediate trail, there are quite a bunch of short steep drops and climbs so it is NOT SUITABLE FOR HYBRID BIKES.  Mountain bikes with grippy tires only on this trail.  If you have prior experience with mountain biking, then you should be OK on this trail, the only reason I did mark it as difficult is due to some of the steep drops.  You should definitely be capable to ride this trail if you have ridden before, but not so much for those that do not yet have that comfort level on a mountain bike. This ride seemed a lot like a roller coaster ride to me with lots of short ups and downs.  And somehow the down hills seemed more plentyful. Yeah I know it's a loop...

I will be sweeping since I am trying to get back into mountain biking and am definitely not quite a speed demon just yet. If you wish to join us and are one of those hard core people that want to do two laps, fine by me.  Just let me know so I'm not wondering what happend to you once I get to the end.

You can check out the trail map if you follow this link:

If everyone is up for it, I was thinking of going to Pure Tequeria afterwards.  Nice "Fresh-Mex" restaurant where we can hopefully snag some nice outdoor seating.

** You will follow a somewhat desserted looking road with possibly lots of construction equipment on the side of this road.  Just keep going, you will dead end into the park.  I will either be in a silver Honda Fit (compact car), or if I'm lucky I will be driving my sisters car with a roof top bike rack (Sage Green Mazda 6). **
