Itinerary:
We will walk the Etowah Trail about 4 or 5 miles at a slow to moderate pace, faster on the flat areas and slower on the inclines.  Because of the rain we've had there may be some creeks to rock-hop across so wear appropriate shoes so your feel will stay dry. We will walk along the river for a short distance and then take one of the loops thru the woods. This is a nice hike and a great way to begin the weekend.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Take I-75 N to I-575. From 575 N, take exit 16 and merge GA-140 W/GA-20 W toward GA-5 N.

You are going to come to a stoplight. This is GA-5 (Hwy 5). Take a right on GA-5 N. Travel less than 1/2 mile, cross over the Etowah River Bridge and take the next left onto Boling Park. (Big sign in front of the park)

If you see Cherokee High School you've gone too far.

Drive to the back of the park, over the big speed bumps, past the water plant. We will meet in front of the pavillion.
